Welcome to the Edison Eagles Robotics Program! Edison’s Robotics Program is designed to inspire and introduce students to the world of Computer Coding, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Our goal this year is to provide a fun learning environment for our students so they can focus on programming, team building, and critical thinking. There are two levels of instruction taught here at Edison.
The Edison Robotics Club, focuses on teaching the basics of programming and team building. There are rotations throughout the year to increase participation and each rotation is scheduled for 8 weeks. This program is designed to be an introductory group focusing on the basics and fundamentals.
The Edison Robotics Team, is an invite only program which selects students based on a variety of factors. The Robotics Team focuses on more advanced elementary concepts in programming and coding. The team meets once a week in preparation for the annual GUSD Elementary Robotics Tournament. Students invited to join the team, will be sent home an invitation at the start of the school year.
