Edison students are given an opportunity to visit the school library for 30 minutes. Kindergarten through 2nd grades come weekly. Grades 3 through 6 come every other week. Students may check out books, provided they have returned their books from their previous visit. Lost or damaged library books must be replaced at the student’s expense. Books are lent out through the City of Glendale Public Library system. City library policies can be found on their website.

Parent volunteers are always needed in the library! The library is open to students and staff from 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. It is closed to the school on Thursdays because it is open to the public all day. The Library is open to the public after school from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. on Thursdays, and 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
